The MAPA Story
MAPA stands to counteract (or directly contest) the value fashionistas put in alligators, tigers, and polo ponies. It’s a logo (and a brand) that works against political correctness and the protective nature of millennial America. It isn’t anti-American - it’s a means of expressing one's dissatisfaction with the fact that kids are on leashes and have to wear helmets when biking to their friend's houses, with the fact that there are suburban communities in which people never have to stray outside the confines of the local security-guard gates, that you have to censor your thoughts before saying anything, and all the other aspects of modernity that would be against wearing a shirt with two feral dogs expressing their love for one another.
All that...and its just plain funny, too.
Why dingos? The real story is that there is a bizarre song that we like about dingos in a meadow. But also because dingos are strange creatures that live in rule-free communities – and that they, like America, sometimes eat children.

What does MAPA mean?
We hear it all the time, but we can give no answer - MAPA means something different to everyone. If you're a MAPA supporter, please send a write up of what MAPA means to you to dingo@mapabrand.com and we'll post it here!
